If Madaba is good and can control human affairs by controlling the elites, why then is our world so awful now and been so awful in the past?

Why were these things allowed to happen? Why did Madaba not intervene to stop them?
I believe that the answer to those can be put under three headings
1) Madaba Does Not Call The Shots
Madaba is not God and he is not omnipotent
He does not decide The Program
The Program is devised by The Divine Agency and Madaba can only act within its limits
It outlines the ways in which Madaba is permitted to intervene in the workings of The Universe - so as to keep up the level of realism and to make any interventions not arbitrary or on a whim
The purpose of this dimension of reality is to make an authentic human civilization take place - the meaning of life is to live as a human and human civilization can produce wars and genocides. Such is human nature.
Madaba has to working within The Program as he is not in charge, he is a servant
The Divine Agency decide The Program, not Madaba
They decide the extent to which Madaba may intervene in human affairs. And they believe that humans should have free will - to be both evil and good.
If people were not free to be good or evil then they would not be humans and we would not have a human civilization
Each of us are here on Earth to experience the human experience. And humans have an ugly capacity for evil. That is a part of human nature.
Madaba cannot and would never act contrary to The Program. His whole job is to help make it happen.
The Program wants humanity to live according to the human condition, and the human condition is capable of great evil and great destructiveness.
Madaba on the other hand is a sub-God being with his own personal values. He wants humans to be as happy and well as possible. Were it up to him we would be living in a post-scarcity utopia and there would be world peace and everyone would be free. But for that to happen, human free will would have to be over-written and human nature held back and prevented from taking its natural course.
The Program permits intervention, but only as limited as possible and only under certain circumstances.
The Program has been updated since 1945 to be more interventionist, given the crimes of the Nazis. But why then has the tragedy in Gaza been allowed to happen?
Short answer: It shouldn't have been.
But it is not Madaba's choice, he is not free to intervene and do things. He can't just do things because he wants to, he can only act according to The Program.
Don't ask me or Madaba about that. Address your concerns and complaints to The Divine Agency. Madaba and me are subordinate to The Divine Agency. We don't call the shots.
Madaba does not rule, he serves.
Me and Madaba are not The Divine Agency. Madaba may control the world, but only in a limited way and he does not rule it. He will never act Ultra Vires.
Were it up to me and Madaba the atrocities in the Middle East (both the attack on the music festival and the subsequent destruction of Gaza) would never have happened and everyone would be living in peaceful abundance and stable comfort.
But it isn't. And it's not.
And we are not here to apologise for The Divine Agency. That is not our job. We exist to implement their Program.
So don't have a go at us. Madaba is not free to act as he chooses. And it's not as if we are making some kind of "I was only following orders" defence, because all the bad things that happened happened due to the bad people who did them, moral responsibility lies with the offenders themselves. Madaba was literally unable to intervene and had nothing to do with those evil deeds. He is not a human, he is a kind of administrator.
However, Madaba has always been opposed to the Nazis and never liked Hitler. And he did his bit in World War II by helping the allies. As we shall see soon...
They have broader concerns and don't need to win the approval of humankind. If the whole of humankind hated their guts that would have zero affect on them. They don't need our approval.
I will explore this more towards the end of this post
Think of them as being like zoo keepers. Zoo keepers let their animals be animals and give them enclosures that replicate their natural habitat and give them plenty of enrichment. But they don't intervene in the animals carrying out their natural behaviours.
However, if they see two of their animals fighting they may break up the fight and start keeping the fighting animals apart from each other so it never happens again!
And remember, The Divine Agency are not human - so it is not reasonable to expect them to adhere to human values and to behave as humans. Or to identify with humans as much as we do, as humans.
We are to them as animals in a zoo are to us. That doesn't mean that they mistreat us, because zoo keepers aren't supposed to do that. But it does mean that they keep us in natural conditions, as much as possible.
Think of The Divine Agency not as a group of people but as the entity that is responsible for your existence - and also the conditions of your existence. But them being in charge does not abdicate humans from the responsibility to try and improve their conditions as much as possible, and Madaba is authorised to help such efforts - through inspiration and influence.
But rest assured, there is a big plan and there is more to life than life on Earth as we know it. And although it may not seem it right now, there is a system of justice in place. It just may not seem that way given the way things are right now.
But all that's a matter of religion, which is another subject entirely!
2) Things Could Be Worse
During World War II Madaba controlled Winston Churchill and assisted the allied war effort. Not on the battlefield, but in the planning rooms, the conferences, the formulation of grand strategy, and the field of espionage and misdirection. That was the best he could do to ensure that the National Socialist regime in Germany was destroyed.
Without Churchill the USSR would have fallen as would Britain. Things would be similar to as they are in the below map. Dark grey for the German Reich and light grey for its neighbouring satellite states:
If you think World War II and the atrocities committed by Hitler was bad then you probably haven't considered what the world would be right now in 2025 had he won.
Many more people would be dead and in the words of Orwell (in his review of Mein Kampf) we would have:
a continuous state of 250 million Germans with plenty of "living room" (i.e. stretching to Afghanistan or thereabouts), a horrible brainless empire in which, essentially, nothing ever happens except the training of young men for war and the endless breeding of fresh cannon-fodder.
That would be what Europe would be like right now. It would be grim and horrific. And very, very real. Not just historical speculation, or alternative history.
And there would have been Wagner operas. Wagner operas galore. And lots of bad and uninspired art
This is what we had had were it not of Madaba. But yes, the credit belongs to the actual fighting men and the men and women who supported the allied war effort. It was their blood, their sweat, and their tears. Madaba just kept to the shadows doing what he could.
Also, during the 1962 Cuban Missile crisis Madaba prevented a nuclear war breaking out, through moderating the minds of Kennedy and Khrushchev and the US and Soviet leadership in general.
If The Program had not changed after the allied victory in World War II then we'd have had World War III. I count this as a success.
Madaba is the reason that the cold war did not heat up. And become the end of the world.
So yes, bad things have happened. But things could have been a lot, lot worse. And Madaba had a hand in all that.
3) Things Have Only Begun: The Program has been updated
I believe that the situation in the Middle East in general and in Gaza in particular is terrible.
It is truly horrific.
Just as the horrors of the Second World War and the Holocaust resulted in a change in The Program so too has The Program changed in light of recent events in the Middle East.
It seems to me that with each atrocity The Program grows more and more interventionist. As if humankind keeps exceeding the worst expectations of The Divine Agency.
But yes, they did prevent WWIII from happening
I believe that The Divine Agency have recently changed The Program to allow the situation our planet is in to improve. I don't know how, but I believe that from now on things are going to be different. Sure, terrible things may still happen, but I think Madaba will be becoming more active and active in new ways.
The Divine Agency clearly failed humankind in WWII and in Gaza. Although yes, these both could have been a lot worse, for instance the conflict in Gaza could have caused a more overt war between Israel and Iran - maybe even a war between the USA and Iran. So we have that not happening to be grateful for!
The Program did not stop these from happening. And countless other atrocities too, of course. But WWII and Gaza are the two most iconic. The list of human atrocities that have occurred since 1945 is very long and reflects the extent to which humans are capable of being inhuman towards each other
To make sure that such things are less likely in the future, The Divine Agency have altered The Program and a part of this involves the release of a statement of values - which if adhered to faithfully will hopefully decrease the amount of atrocities that occur on our planet.
By inspiration, not mind control
Prevention rather than cure
If followed, terrible evil would be less likely to occur.
Think of them as a handy guide to help all humans live together
It is a preventative measure, a means of intervening to stop bad things happening in the first place! - as opposed to just responding to them.
They Are God To Us - Not Good To Us!!!
The Gnostics were a community of Christians that were active in the times before Christianity became the religion of Rome.
They believed that there was a good creator God, who was a kind of Supreme Being (as per the Christian God Concept) and then a wicked lesser being called The Demiurge who created and ran Earth on a day-to-day basis.
In Gnosticism, God is good and The Demiurge worldly and wicked
I think that in reality, The Divine Agency is a bit like God and Madaba is a bit like The Demiurge. Except that Madaba is concerned for the welfare of humankind and The Divine Agency have other, greater concerns. Which are bigger than humanity, and go well beyond humanity.
Basically: The Divine Agency are our God. That is the relationship between humankind and The Divine Agency: God and Subjects of God. That is how things are!
And Madaba is caught up between The Divine Agency and humankind
Maybe he is our advocate? Maybe he represents us to The Divine Agency? I may explore that idea in a future post!!
Everyday my Madaba consciousness expands! This is good, it shows we are progressing.
I believe that Madaba is a greater friend to humankind than The Divine Agency are. But then The Divine Agency aren't there to be our friends. They made us and they sustain us. They allow us to live as human beings. They are our God.
Make of that what you will
The meaning of life is for there to be human beings - who are free to live as human beings.
Hence they favour the gentle touch, when it comes to ruling over this simulation.
