Re: The Claims And Beliefs Stated On This Website

I no longer believe some of the stuff that I have written on this website over the many months through which I have been updating it

Over the past few months my understanding of things has advanced and grown stronger and sharper - and as that happened it has become apparent that some of the things I said are simply not true and do not represent the claims I want make about myself and about reality

I have left certain ideas and beliefs behind as my journey has progressed and they no longer represent me.

I have therefore condensed the main claims I have made on this website on a single page, which you can go to by following this link

Do I believe the things I have written on this website?

I did when I wrote them

Looking back, I think I got some things right but that with other things I was mistaken

Perhaps I went too far with some things, such as some of my claims about the scope and importance of Madaba, which I am beginning to think goes too far

So right now I believe a lot of the things I said but others, not so much!

In the future I will set out my specific claims in a specific blog post

I will detail exactly what I believe

To make things more clear

And I will then state what I don't believe

All that will be coming soon

But I will keep all my old content up, as it represents the things I did used to believe

I am considering marking those old pages and posts with a legacy disclaimer, referring to my statement of beliefs (that I am going to write)

I will explain it all

But not right now, some other time
